Thank you all so much for your comments on my previous post.  We went to see the physical therapist that Thurs & she said there is definitely an issue (duh!) & we are seeing her once weekly right now.  She was going to talk to my Dr to discuss whether or not we should see an orthopedist just to make sure it isn't due to bone structure or anything like that & also to decide on whether we should put her in shoes w/inserts (like you mentioned Nat).  I didn't hear from either the PT or my Dr & was hoping for some answers when we went in today for our 2nd appt only to learn my Dr has been out of the office all week due to the holiday weekend.  Bummer.  So the PT said she had already scheduled a time with her office to talk to her today & come up with a game plan.  I hoping to hear from either one of them soon.  At my last Dr's. appt, she didn't seem to keen on the shoes, but I think that both the PT & I are leaning that way at this point.  The PT did explain that some Dr's feel it takes away important sensory information the babes get walking around without them, but the way I see it she ain't walking!!!  I will see what her opinion are after talking with the PT & go from there.  Just don't feel like getting in a battle over it & praying it doesn't come to that.

Other than that, I do think it seems to be helping.  She is NOT happy during the appts & only wants to be in Mama's arms.  As you can imagine it is soooooooooo hard not to just scoop her up & let her know she's ok.  We do a lot of exercises at home, but unlike the PT I can't stand making her cry & can only do so much without feeling guilty.  Today, she did a thousand times better then last week when she cried like mad the entire time.  At least this time there were breaks in between crying fits.  She is letting us hold her feet in the corrected position a lot longer but will still stand funny without any help.  I am trying not to get discouraged but it is so hard when I know she would be walking if it weren't for this issue.  I watch as all my friends babes start passing her & as much as I know it is BAD to compare, I still do it!  Oy.

On top of all of this Adelyn has finally gotten her first tooth only a few weeks shy of turning 11 months.  She is certainly NOT a graceful teether.  Prior to the tooth coming through she went on a hard core nursing strike.  At the time I had no idea what was causing it.  Once that stinker finally broke through she went right back to nursing.  But now she wants nothing to do with solids.  She is also waking MAD early & rarely falls back to sleep.  And my normally always happy silly baby is so very cranky these days.  She already has the 2nd tooth coming through & hopefully after that we'll be done for a bit.

Keep us posted, I hope they figure something out for her.
YEs teething has never been easy for us either. And I'm sorry to say it never got easier. :-\
I am happy we are just about done with teething! Only two more canines and then her 2nd set of molars, which shouldn't be for a while. Crazy how Kailyn's first tooth was at 3 months and your baby girl just got hers. They are all so different. Kailyn had 8 teeth already when I stopped BFing her at 10 months!! Luckily she was NOT a biter....she knew better than to bite the boob that fed her! lol
