Gods Plan Not Mine

Just wanted to write a quick update that things are still going well.  Went in a week ago today for a sono & our little Squirt had gotten so big & was wiggling & karate chopping all over the place!!  I measured 9+1 wks & should be 9+4 wks but they just stink w/measuring so not worried.  I go for my first midwife appt on Mon then should get another scan in a week or 2.  I can not wait!!!

My doppler started working 2 days before my sono so that helped calm me quite a bit & continues to.  I seriously love that thing.  I will be 12 weeks in only 10 days!!  On one hand it seems around the corner.  On the other it seems ages away.  I'm already getting a lil bump & still feeling like crap which also keeps me calm.  But even with all of this, I can't wrap my head around the possibility of actually getting to have a baby at the end of this.  I'm more detached than I would like to be but I guess it comes with the territory.  Hoping that making it to 12 wks changes things a bit.  Or maybe once we tell everyone. 

I did order a great little shirt for Addy that says "I'm going to be a big sister" & has her name & cute little monkeys on it.  We are going to have her wear it over to my in-laws to announce it over Memorial Day weekend.  Then when I have the guts to share it w/the world I'll take a pic & post it on FB.  Once again this all seems crazy but I have to be positive & remain hopeful.
