As usual I've worked myself up over nothing. And the silly thing is I know it's not the last time..lol! We saw the baby and everything was great! It was certainly a hectic morning though! Hubby had to work early and was going to meet me there. He is my rock that man, and without him I was even more worked up than usual. Then he was running late and I was sitting in that stinking waiting room cussing him out in my head! And even though I was being completely irrational and sinful if you will, God still blessed me by making them call me in pretty late so that hubby got there just in time. We went in and naturally I closed my eyes until I heard hubby say, "Wow it's gotten big!". Then I knew all was well and opened my eyes to see the most precious little nugget ever. S/he was moving all over the place, wiggling it's litle arms and legs and making mommy cry (as is the case at all my u/s so far). We are 10 weeks today and measuring 10 weeks 4 days and the HB was 171! The tech got a really great picture but for some reason kept that one for the file...jerk! But we did get this one!
It's a little blurry but can you see those adorable little legs??? In the beginning the little nugget was right side up so that's why the picture he kept looked better. Then s/he started flipping all over the place so here s/he is upside down with it's little legs sticking out. I shoulda demanded the good pic...lol. For christmas we are putting a sono pic in a frame wrapped up as gifts for my parents and sister to open so I would really like a good one. Have my first midwife appt on the 23rd and perhaps I'll get another one then.
Since the beginning I've felt like I am going to have a girl. Well today when the tech was looking he zoomed in and said this is it's little butt and here is where they'll look to determine the sex. And where he pointed was the tinies little spot petruding out. Of course we know it's way too early to know whether or not it's a little wanker or not, but now I'm not so sure we're having a girl..lol.
Oh and completely off the TTC topic...on my way into work I stopped to get a bagel and ran into my ex!!! I dated him before my hubby and after being together for a bit, found out he was married with 3 kids!!!!! Yeah so not cool. He was walking into the store while I was walking out. Man it was so awkward. I said a quick hello. He asked how I was doing and we talked for a minute or two and it was the weirdest thing ever!! He asked if I had any kids yet and I said no and told him I have suffered 2 losses (don't ask me why cuz I don't know). Would you believe he said so did him and his wife?!!! Most times the info that others suffered from loss than became successful parents makes me feel better but this was just too weird. We are standing there in the freezing cold after cutting it off rather abruptly over 5 years ago and discussing our spouses. What a wacky morning.
"Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us." Ephesians 3:20

That is sooo great!! I think your pic is still really good! My 10 week scan sucked because I was already discharged from my RE and my OB's machine was old and we could barely see lil Pea. It was still reassuring just to see her again, though.
So happy things are really looking good for the three of you!!

Crazy about your Ex. Have you ever dreamt about an Ex? My dreams have been bizarre lately, and my Ex has been in a few of them. Wierd.
