First and foremost, thank you so much for your responses on my last post and for giving me the courage to stick up for myself at my appt.  We went in and the midwife we saw was very receptive and listened to what I had to say.  On top of the contractions, I've been having some issues with heart palpitations.  She was mostly concerned with this and has me going to a cardiologist who specializes in pregnant woman just to make sure all is ok.  I'm sure it is fine, but it is nice to feel like she is concerned.  About the contractions, she stated that because I do so much walking I should be drinking a gallon of water a day.  Now this is all fine and dandy when a bathroom is nearby, but when you need to pee behind a dune every time, it's really not that convenient.  So I am doing my best.  The good thing is I am not having so many.  I'm sure this has a lot to do with the increase in water and the knowledge that I only have 2 more weeks left of F/T work.

I did ask her what her feeling were about me working and what I do.  She said that as long as I am up to continuing (and drinking my water), she thinks it is actually beneficial for me to stay on.  Originally I was shooting for going on P/T on 6/1 and then full leave as of 6/19 and that is currently what my FMLA paperwork says.  She did repeat the stupid, "no medical indication" statement she said last time but I figured I would ignore her for now and see how I feel on 6/1.  If I have decided that I am done working, I will simply call them up and tell them that I am done and would like the paperwork updated.  If I do not get the support/response I want, I will throw a fit until either I do or tell them I will then have to go to another midwife who understand that walking 5-7 miles on the beach in the sun at 34 weeks pregnant is not an easy task!!

Otherwise, the appt went good.  I did not gain any weight since my appt 3 weeks ago, which was a shock.  I figure as long as I'm not losing drastic amounts of weight I'm fine with this.  I also learned that baby girl is no longer breech!!  I am hoping that she decides to stay this way.  We go back on the 28th to get a sono and I will get to see her again for the first time since our 20 week anatomy scan and CAN NOT WAIT!!!

Thanks again for all the support!!
