So here we are at the end of 2010 & never would I have thought one year could have brought me so much joy!  I look back with only fond memories & think what a contrast it was to the year before.  God has been so very good to me & my family & I am forever grateful.  I don't post as often as I would like but I still think of many of you daily & pray so often that each one of you is able to celebrate the precious miracle you certainly deserve.

We spent Christmas upstate with my in-laws & although I love them dearly it was crazy stressful.  Addy is a light sleeper (YUCK) & with 12 cousins running around all week it was a bit much.  Sadly, she has also gotten pretty sick & is currently running a 101 degree fever & so sad & lethargic.  She does nothing but sleep.  Naturally I called the Dr twice already to make sure I was doing the right thing for my baby girl.  We plan on leaving at her bedtime tonight (7:30) & driving through.  I just feel like being home will be better for all of us, but am concerned as to how much stress it will put on her when she is feeling so icky.  Please pray Addy gets better soon & is back to her hyper happy little self.

Once we get home my hubby has to pack up again & heads to training for 3 weeks.  I am SOOOO sad about this.  He will be home on the weekends but they always go so fast & he does have to travel 6 hours too & from.  I feel like he is going to miss so much while he is gone.  I will be introducing solids to Addy next week & also taking her to the allergist to hopefully learn for sure what she is & isn't allergic to.  It is sad that her daddy won't be there for any milestones that might occur while he is away too.  It's also tough taking care of a 6 month old alone!!!  I'm just hoping it goes by fast.

I pray all of you are doing well & wish you a very Happy New Year!  God Bless.

Poor Addy! I'll be praying for her and you and safe travels. You may have seen that we also cut our trip short and drove through the night both ways to be as good to Ella as possible. The sacrifices that we make for our little ones...

Poor baby! Kailyn went 6 months with never getting sick, but now has had a cold she can't kick since Thanksgiving!! :-(
I know how hard it can be to take care of a baby alone! My husband is gone 24 hours every 3rd day and that can be hard at times. I can't imagine weeks straight. I'm sorry, that must be tough. But you are strong and a great Mom!
Wishing you all a Happy New Year and hoping Addy feels better soon.

Yuck! No fun. I hope she gets feeling better soon. R is sick with two ear infections and bronchitis. He has to do breathing treatments, antibiotics, decongestants, and Tylenol for his fevers. All things considered, he's a pretty happy guy!

I agree--2010 was a great year! I'm glad I got to share in your journey with you. I'm looking forward to more! Happy New Year!
