So I had my u/s this morning (CD 10) and I currently have one follicle in my left ovary that is 20mm and 3 on the right all under 10mm. I'm not really sure how it works but I have read a little and learned that the follicles should grow 1-2mm per day. So the one on the left should be huge by then! I'm not sure about the right side though. Does anyone know if there is one dominant follicle per ovary or just one overall? My lining was also 6mm and the nurse said they prefer 8-12mm but didn't seem concerned. Either way I have another u/s on Monday so hopefully everything will have improved by then. Hopefully I get a + OPK that day as well. In addition, I have acupuncture that night, which is perfect timing!!

As for the clomid, Nicole you were absolutely correct!! I am definitely more emotional today!!! Also, a little dry down south and glad we had gotten pre-seed prior (just in case)!! Other than that, doing well and looking forward to trying again!! Will let you all know how Mon goes!!!

From my very limited knowledge of follicles, it sounds like the 20mm might be too big by the time you ovulate. If I had to guess, I'm thinking that your "good" egg might be one of the ones on the other side. (I didn't know this before it happened to me, but I guess it's possible for eggs to become overgrown and no longer "fresh" by the time you ovulate.) Anyone else have more experience with this than me??

Well hopefully your "dryness down south" doesn't get as bad as mine! It was horrible. Can you believe my mouth was even dry constantly a few days. Can't wait to hear what they see Monday. Good luck!!

I haven't ever experienced the dryness but what is "pre-seed"?

I hope that yesterday went well for you and can't wait for an update!
