Today I am 15 weeks and still can't believe it.  We went a week ago today to our 14 week sono (We did not do the NT Scan and testing) and our little nugget wasn't so little anymore!!  The sono tech was just amazing and definitely spent more time than usual with us.  We got TONS of pictures.  These two are my favorite.

Probably around 3 or 4 days ago I started getting some really sharp pains in my right side.  I know about round ligament pain but this pain doesn't go away.  Sometimes it's more of a dull pain but no real break.  I let it go for about two days at which point I called the midwife.  She was super friendly and asked tons of questions.  She said that she does think it's round ligament and that it is combined on top of the gas pains I have because I never use the bathroom!!  She did say that if the really sharp pains continue to head over to the ER and get checked if it would make me feel better.  Although the pain has subsided, it is still there more than not.  They are not "cramp like" pains so it doesn't have me completely freaked out but I would be lying if I said I wasn't worried.  I just want it to go away all together.  Anyone have anything else like this?

Besides these annoying pains, all seems to be going well.  I'm super thankful for my doppler and I listen to the baby every day.  I don't know what I'd do without it.  My belly definitely shows but I am pretty pettite so I'm sure that plays a part.  I will have to do a belly shot and post it.  I am slowly allowing myself to believe this baby may be our keeper and doing some looking on line at nurseries and such.  We find out in a little bit over a month if it's a boy or girl.  I imagine once that happens I'll be a little more interested in shopping for baby stuff.  I am also really really really looking forward to the first time I feel the baby move.  The midwife said that I should feel something the beginning of Feb.  I hope she is right!!!  I know it will make it all so much more real.  I am headed to a conference in WV next week so I won't be near a computer.  I will try and get on to see how everyone is doing.

I've had so many constipation problems through this pregnancy, particularly in the first and early second trimesters, and they've caused a lot of pain at times. Aside from fibre and fluids, I've found that one way to ease that discomfort when it's especially bad is milk of magnesia. The stuff saved me a few times!

Such great pics you got! Isn't it crazy to see a baby finally?!
Sounds like things are going good besides your pains. I get a pain sometimes that I am pretty sure is my bowels. I am in the same boat as you and sorry to say @ 25 wks it is in no way better. I take my benefiber in my drink almost every day now. I sometime's get nervous when I do finally have to go! yikes!
Can't wait until you find out what you are having! And once you feel baby your doppler will probably find a nice place on your closet shelf. That is where mine has been because now I get to feel her every day!

Congratulations on 15 weeks! Your baby now looks like a baby! (and is totally adorable!) That is so awesome!

I have felt my baby move a few times, but my doctor said that is expected since I have the hematoma and tumor pushing my uterus forward. I guess if it means I can feel my baby, I won't complain that I am huge!
