So here it is Jan 1, 2010 and God's timing is perfect as usual. After the most difficult year of my life I sit here celebrating the first day of my second trimester. A point I never thought I would reach. Naturally I still fight back the fear on a daily basis, but each day the good Lord allows me to carry this little one, I become a little more hopeful.
My Christmas went great!!! My brother (who is the only family member who knew) gave my sister and parents a frame with the most recent sono pic that said either Worlds Greatest Grandparents or Aunt. He also gave me one with the verse from Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed you in the womb, I chose you". We all opened our frames at the same time and my sister and dad got it instantly. My mom sat there dumbfounded giving this fake smile even though she had no idea what was going on!!! Oh mom!! Finally my sister said something and my mom's face just totally fell and she started jumping up and down and crying. My brother took pictures that I will try and post if I can get them off my sisters camera. We than got to tell my aunt/uncle and my other brother. As you may remember I invited him and his crazy (also pregnant) wife. Well needless to say I will not be expecting much from that relationship. She hacked into my brothers (the one who knew) e-mail and came over with baby gifts! Now I know what you're thinking. She brought gifts, that's nice. But she wasn't even supposed to know I was pregnant!!!! If she had gotten there any earlier she would have ruined the surprise all together. Seriously the girl is friggin nuts. So other than the psycho in law making it clear that she will not be changing any time soon, it was the best Christmas ever!!!
We drove upstate to surprise hubby's family yesterday and tell the rest of them. Believe it or not his sister (one of the nicest people ever) is pregnant and we are due 2.5 weeks apart!!! She was so excited for me! Also on the 26th my BIL & SIL welcomed a gorgeous chunky little boy Zacharia Nathan.

I get to meet him later on today! I am now the aunt of 11 nieces and nephews on my hubby's side with 1 more on the way!!! Big families are awesome!!!
So counting the psycho in law, I am also pregnant with a close friend from college (a m/c sufferer as well), my friend Jenn (with twins after suffering IF), my wonderful SIL and now a girl who works for me during the summer!!! And of course that's not counting the ladies on here I am taking this journey with. Talk about being with great company!!
So here is to a wonderful 2010!!! I am praying that each of you are able to have all your dreams come true and have your little miracles this year. God Bless!

I am glad you were still able to surprise your family! I am sorry, but the term "Psycho-In-Law" makes me laugh! Don't we all have at least one of those in our families?!
Happy 2010!
