My friend Jenn can really use your prayers.  She updated me last night that she took an Ffn (determines if your in pre-term labor) and it came back positive.  They checked her cervix though and all was fine in that area.  The hospital wanted her to stay and start her on Terbutaline to decrease the number of contractions and then something else to increase the development of the babies lungs.  They kept telling her though that they weren't even sure if it was pre-term labor, which seemed confusing.  So they decided to go home and see her OB this afternoon.

She just called and is on her way back to the hospital.  Although the contractions have lessened quite a bit her cervix has dialated to 1.7cm.  She is going to be starting the drugs for the babies lungs but they are unsure of whether they will have her take the Terbutaline as the contractions are now minimal.  Either way she will be staying overnight to be observed.

These little babies are such a miracle for this wonderful Christian couple and they were truly just meant to be parents.  It took them 2 years and 5 IUI's before being blessed with them.  I have such a connection to them as well, being as we have been through every step of this pregnancy together.  It seems so wrong to be away from her right now celebrating while she is going through something so terrifying.  Please pray for their continued strength and the Dr's knowledge on how to best handle the situation.  Ultimately pray for the little ones; that they continue to have the time to grow big and strong and spend a little more time cooking before entering this world.
