Gods Plan Not Mine

Aaaaahhhhh!!  I am 39 weeks!!  Only one week until Baby Girl's due date.  I can't believe I've gotten this far.  At any moment my life will change forever and one of my biggest dreams will come true!  Even though I can not wait to meet her, I am in no rush to not be pregnant anymore.  I have loved being pregnant!  I know this is not always the case with all women, so I definitely feel blessed.  However, I don't think she will be showing up any time soon.  My midwife will let me go 42 weeks before we even consider any interaction, but hopefully she does decide to grace us with her presence before then.  My guess is the 17th.

Although I have loved this pregnancy, lately I am finding that I'm struggling a bit with my emotions.  I know that this is mainly hormones, but it's been tough.  At the end of May, hubby got a promotion to Lieutenant and although this is great, we weren't expecting the increase in his workload that came with it.  I mean don't get me wrong.  Obviously becoming a supervisor increases the amount of work you do, but add this to his commute and the fact that he still has a second part time job and I really don't see him often.  I don't plan on returning to work so the raise is definitely needed, but I miss him...A LOT!!  I think the fact that I have been out of work for almost a month during a time when I am usually going non-stop plays a part as well.  It has been SOOOO hot and muggy here and just the thought of leaving the house makes me break a sweat!  Hopefully once baby girl is here and hubby completely adjusts to his new position I will not be as emotional...lol....wishful thinking!
