Gods Plan Not Mine

We saw a heartbeat!!  Our first ever heartbeat!!!  I cry just writing this.  I was so sure we would get bad news today and there it was flickering away.  Before we even walked in to the RE's office I started crying uncontrollably and my wonderful loving perfect fantastic hubby held me and told me we will see a heartbeat and not to worry.  Of course I was still worried but it was his confidence that got me through that door.  I told the nurse and the sonographer about the spotting prior and they didn't seem too worried.  Once she started the u/s I closed my eyes so scared to see nothing and then she said there it is!!!  I turned and saw that beautiful beating heart and started crying again....as you can see I do a lot of crying these days.  It was still too early to hear it but getting to see it was enough! 

We saw the doc afterwards and he was great.  Talked about all my concerns and reassured me that spotting was common and that he understands why it scares me.  He also scheduled my next u/s for a week so I get to see our little one again soon!!!  The doc also checked my abdomen as I have been so bloated and constipated and suggested I stop taking the prenatal and just double my dose of folbic and see if that helps.  My acupuncturist/herbalist also gave me these crazy herbs that I need to cook myself!!!  It looks like sticks, bark and other things you may find at the bottom of a mucky pond that I heat up, let simmer and than drink!  Let me just say.....YUCK!!  But I will do anything for this little one!  The spotting is lighter than yesterday and barely there so that makes me so so so so happy!  I decided to stay home from work today and just keep my booty on the couch in hopes that the spotting will just completely go away.  Thank you all for your warm thoughts on my post yesterday!!  I don't have a scanner at home so I will put up the picture tomorrow when I'm back at work!
